In my opinion, this is the best album by this band, even though their last two albums are pretty great as well. The songs are incredibly well-crafted, musically rich, and performed brilliantly. It's one of the finest records ever produced in the Netherlands, if you ask me. Even my friends who aren't from the Netherlands enjoy it!
Fantastic pressing, you can even notice the original mistakes in the mix. The low and high ends are beautifully balanced and everything is clearly audible. The reissue from MOV sounds honest and delivers everything as intended. Notably, 'Nachtzuster' sounds quite bare because Henny Vrienten's bass guitar simply wasn't well mixed back then. You can also hear that at the beginning of 'Doe Maar Net Alsof', the siren sound is just cut off (haha). In short, MOV has done a good job remastering this timeless album and offers a pure listening experience. Bonus: the cover is also beautifully printed. With fluorescent colours and a razor-sharp print. Music: 7/10 Pressing: 8.5/10 Cover: 9/10
