Upon its vinyl re-release (in '23), I didn't hesitate to snatch it up. My wife and I are both '80s kids who grew up grooving to his tunes, and this album solidified his status as one of Australia's finest. It was a delightful blast from the past.
John Farnham delivered a strong sequel with this album. Following the immense success of Whispering Jack, there were high expectations, but John rose to the occasion once again. The production quality was even better this time around. While the radio hits from this album might not have been as massive as the previous one, it's a more cohesive album to enjoy from start to finish.
Excellent pressing. The audio is incredibly vibrant, crisp, and luminous. The tracks are fantastic and his vocals, as expected, are outstanding.
