Without a doubt, this is the ultimate heavy metal album, number one in my book. Iron Maiden have truly outdone themselves with this masterpiece. The European original pressing is an absolute sound sensation. It's so fresh, punchy, and crisp, with an airy quality that's simply breathtaking.
I reckon I've got a bit of a Frankenstein here. I've got your regular OBI from the 2nd pressing, but it's come with the poster as well.
Hey, so I just noticed that the front logo on my version is actually etched in (pretty hard to spot at first, you gotta have a strong light shining on it), has anyone else noticed this on theirs? ;)
The press is tidy, yet the sound appears rather dull. You can barely make out the high and low frequencies.
