Among my top favorite 4T RtR experiences. I'm curious if I lucked out with an outstanding copy or if they're all this amazing, but it's absolutely stunning, far surpassing any other format! I can't help but wonder how the original MT must have sounded (or maybe even sounded...!)
fantastic album... another great Japanese pressing... super flat and really quiet, no hiss... strongly recommend
The first side of this album is fantastic, but I must say, Side 2 loses me a bit with "The Impossible Dream," though I suppose that's just the spirit of the times. Most tracks here are subtle and understated, making them quite enjoyable to listen to in 2023. There's an amazing Dylan cover, and the performances of "Let it Be Me" and "Do What You Gotta Do" are absolutely smoldering. I should also mention that the bass work throughout is superb and really stands out, especially with the minimal arrangements.
