Prepare to be captivated by Montell Fish's highly anticipated debut album, "CHARLOTTE," set to release on September 27, 2024, under the independent label Lord’s Child, LLC. In just under 30 minutes, this 11-track powerhouse takes you on a journey through a spectrum of emotions and experiences, each song a testament to Montell Fish's raw talent and artistic depth.
From the hauntingly beautiful "Amor" to the defiant anthem "SCREAM MY NAME," "CHARLOTTE" is a bold exploration of love, betrayal, ambition, and self-discovery. The album opens with the tender "Amor," setting a poignant tone that contrasts sharply with the intense energy of tracks like "Who Did You Touch?" and "God or The Devil?" Montell Fish's powerful vocals and evocative lyrics paint vivid pictures, inviting you to reflect on your own experiences and emotions.
The album's standout tracks, such as the introspective "Do You Remember?" and the defiant "Is it a Crime?", showcase Montell Fish's ability to blend raw emotion with catchy melodies. The title track "CHARLOTTE" is a standout, blending haunting vocals with a driving beat, creating an atmosphere that is both intimate and expansive.
With "CHARLOTTE," Montell Fish establishes himself as a formidable force in the music industry, delivering an album that is as thought-provoking as it is entertaining. Whether you're a longtime fan or a newcomer to Montell Fish's music, "CHARLOTTE" is an album you won't want to miss.

Am I the only one hearing a song that's not listed between 'dont you love me' and 'heaven'?
While I'm head over heels for Scream my name, the rest of the tracks totally make up for it. Charlotte, Do for you, and Waited for you are fucking amazing, I really hope Montell drops them on Spotify someday.
I must say, I'm quite let down by the physical track list compared to the streaming one. Songs like Amor and Scream My Name are among my favorites, and their absence made me realize how much they mean to me. Even the reordering of the same tracks seems to work better in the streaming version. It's more compact and lively, while the physical one feels bloated and sluggish. Unfortunately, I regret my purchase.
This collection of songs truly enhances the overall album experience. I'm baffled as to why he opted to create a different version for streaming platforms. It's an entirely distinctive and, in my opinion, original interpretation of the charlotte concept. To fully appreciate this record as intended, go for this vinyl edition. It's a fantastic modern psychodelic twist on rnb.
