The mastering and vinyl cut on this one is fantastic, really brings out the dynamism and richness... it's a step up from the CD/digital version. But, as usual with United pressings, there's a fair bit of surface noise present. It's a shame really, 'cause out of the Trilogy albums, this one's got the most quiet bits. It's also cut a bit low, so the noise is more noticeable than it oughta be. The gatefold's thick and sturdy though. All in all, I'm happy with it (would've been nice to see a higher-end plant handle this one). Updated the runouts yesterday and it looks like they used the same stampers for these discs as they did for The Trilogy Box. Not sure if the box set was pressed by United, so maybe the wax is dead quiet for that one. But you can expect the same sound here as if you took the Echoes LP straight outta the box set.
Delighted to include this in my assortment, what a fantastic piece of work.
This album's pressing is quite good, I'm not crazy about it overall, but there are a few tracks I really enjoy.
Received my copies and I'm over the moon with joy. Really glad I went for two this time.
Seems like I got lucky - my order included the right 2nd LP
