Hands down, this is my all-time top Beirut record, and I'm absolutely thrilled to have it on vinyl.
This vinyl record is fantastic! The disc is perfectly flat, super quiet, and pristine, all tucked inside a poly inner sleeve. The gatefold artwork is a nice touch as well. It's so great to hear Zach revive the Farfisa organ, bringing back that classic early Beirut vibe. These tracks not only capture that beloved old sound but also feel fresh and innovative. The bass on this pressing is particularly impressive, really enhancing the songs' atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend this one!
The sound quality of this pressing is truly a letdown, it's like all the enchantment and energy of Beirut's music was completely crushed
