The audio feels squashed, not like it was properly mastered for vinyl. The pressing itself is decent.
It's more than just OK, but it's not the best Pixies have to offer…back when they were on top in the 90's. I got this 'cause I needed a slipmat.
Absolutely fantastic, amazing revival, the greatest rock album from 2016!
This version of the album is really great. The disc is flat and heavy, it sounds fantastic, very clear, no skips or pops. It includes a download card for mp3 & flac, a complete deal! The album is really good in my opinion. It captures the vibe of the group's golden era, even if they might be repeating themselves a bit. But I love their sound, so I love this album, way more than the previous one...
