The sound quality of this colored vinyl is absolutely fantastic. My copy arrived in perfect condition, with no warping, skips, hissing, or any other issues. The mastering is quite loud, so it might jump on cheaper turntables.
I stumbled upon one of those new Bellman pressings you've been hearing about (it had a Made In Germany sticker but no fancy hype sticker) from a Prime seller named DiscountVinylRecords for just $24.99 (plus tax)...so, good deals are still out there, folks. The pressing and packaging are absolutely fantastic, top-notch all around.
Totally agree with what everyone's saying. This pressing is absolutely fantastic. I'd only ever heard it on CD previously, but this version is so much better. No pops, no clicks, no background noise, no harsh sounds... it's incredibly clean. Plus, it's a massive vinyl record too! If I could rate it out of 100, it'd easily be over 95.
The bass in this one is absolutely amazing. However, the vocals feel a bit underwhelming. It's odd, they come across as quite soft and low compared to the rest of the music.
Absolutely amazing audio. Stunning quality. Absolutely amazing audio. No second thoughts. Grab it.
