Among Gainsbourg's final studio works. An impressive album. The tunes and players are first-rate.
Can anyone clarify if there were two Japanese versions launched in the same year? : https://www.discogs.com/fr/Gainsbourg-Love-On-The-Beat/release/8435225 I'm puzzled as to why there's another listing for this album, specifically the Japanese edition. The other entry lacks photos and isn't detailed enough. Thanks for any info! And this Japanese edition sounds amazing!!! So much depth and clarity, no issues at all. Compared to my French version from the 80s, it's so much better!
