I gotta say, this ain't the best quality. But, let's not forget, it's a passion project to put out music that's never seen the light of day, cut in the '60s. It's a blast listening to these tracks, and I'm grateful for the chance. With the gear they had back then, I don't think they could've squeezed out much better sound than what they did.
I wasn't sure what to expect, perhaps due to what others had said, but this exceeded my expectations. The audio quality is fantastic, no matter the source. For any music enthusiast, this is a must-own, as the history behind it is fascinating. The packaging is straightforward but does a great job of setting the scene for the era. Plus, any design that can sneak in a Barbarella nod without overdoing it deserves major props.
Warp's no different. Sent one back, got another with the same problem. It'll play, but there's a clear wobble. Sound's incredible, but impulse has some kinda issue.
Gorgeous box and overall look, yet sadly bent. Side one had some hiss, but could be listened to, side two's a lost cause.
Incredible pressing, the inserts are a blast to read and the playbill reproduction is a really cool addition. It's super quiet and the sound quality is fantastic. Can't wait for the janitor version
