This album sounds fantastic and the pressing quality is excellent. Upon closer inspection of the cover's front and back, I spotted that Rudy van Gelder was the recording engineer. That name rang a bell, so I went on a search to learn more. I'm a big fan of records and all their tiny details.
Yet another fantastic addition, backing up what everyone's saying below, so much better than that awful RVG Edition CD... it needed a good wipe just out of the packaging, but honestly, it seems like EVERY pressing does these days... totally worth it just to experience "Buster Rides Again" in stunning AAA stereo.
Optimal's pressing is flawless. The instruments and dynamics on this album are wonderfully distinct. Mastered from the original analogue tapes, it's a true treasure in my audiophile collection.
