The sleeve's gate-fold was so snug, they didn't even bother inserting the records before shrink wrapping my purchase. The sound quality is fantastic, but come on. I shouldn't have to wrestle with the sleeve just to get the records in and out... Ordered straight from the O- store...
The audio quality is fantastic, and I'm relieved to say there are no irritating gaps like in the older bootleg version. The only changes I'd make are: A. The artwork is a bit pixelated, and B. I wish it was green to match the rest of the TON albums. This is a solid copy to tide you over until an official re-release comes out.
Run Out Groove's vinyl releases of Type O Negative have all been fantastic. Origin of the Feces has never sounded this good. It's a must-have for any fan of Type O.
Let's get it out there. Has anyone taken off the sticker? Is it genuinely scratch and sniff, and if that's the case … what's your take? Plus, once you've peeled the sticker, can you stick it back onto a plastic case?
The spaces are quite frustrating, but apart from that, the record's quality is pretty decent. I got it by mistake from Amazon, but they gave me my money back and let me hold onto it.
