My unit delivers great sound and operates quietly. I usually go for ambient/hifi tracks on CD, but thanks to the quietness, it's not an issue at all!
Awesome album, but the pressing is awful. There's a constant surface noise in the right channel on both sides, which really ruins the listening experience. Universal Music sent me a replacement, but it had the exact same issue, so it's definitely a problem with the pressing.
The audio quality is absolutely stunning. I'm genuinely in love with this vinyl. The gatefold images are breathtaking, all captured by Eno himself, including the cover shot. The inner sleeves feature Eno's shadow selfies, which are pretty cool. The lithographs, though, aren't my favorite; they seem like they were created in some basic paint program, lol. The D-side is a visual masterpiece, with a label showing Eno strolling on a rocky shore. There's a really touching note on the second LP's sleeve, "to dawn," which was the last alias Bowie used in his final email to Eno before he passed.
