In my opinion, it's just an okay pressing. Ever reminisce about the times when none of this even crossed anyone's mind? It's really just a source of frustration.
I have this album and must agree with what others have said. It really does sound incredibly lively and outperforms recent remastered versions. I'd definitely suggest giving it a go.

I've got variant 8 here, and it's kinda see-through with a slight yellow tint when you shine a phone light through it.
Absolutely amazing sound quality! The audio is fantastic and it fills up the entire room. Turn up the volume and enjoy!
