This is such a great album. I love John Mayall and this is quite different from most of his more blues oriented music. This is like the title says a jazz blues fusion and it’s fantastic. As usual he has a great band behind him. The recording is also very good.

Bought my copy used for 15 CAD. Awesome live performance from 2 separate shows (Boston and New York in the early 70s) from a great bunch of musicians. Great improvisation skills from all the band members, especially on Good Time Boogie. I've heard Blue Mitchell playing a lot better than its prestation on this album, but no big complaint. Pressing is not bad, but recording is not the best (live recording...). Overall very enjoyable and engaging album. 3.85 / 5
