Product description

This 2025 Limited Edition Reissue LP is pressed on 140g Clear vinyl.

Coldplay's seventh studio album, A Head Full of Dreams, is a vibrant and eclectic collection of songs that marks a deliberate departure from the band's previous work. Released on 4 December 2015 by Parlophone in the UK and Atlantic Records in the US, this 11-track album is a masterful blend of psychedelic soundscapes, soaring melodies, and introspective lyrics.

With a runtime of 45 minutes, A Head Full of Dreams takes listeners on a journey through a diverse range of emotions and themes, from the euphoric 'Adventure of a Lifetime' to the haunting 'Everglow'. The album features a star-studded lineup of collaborations, including 'Fun' with Tove Lo, and showcases the band's willingness to experiment and push the boundaries of their signature sound.

The tracklist, which includes 'A Head Full of Dreams', 'Birds', 'Hymn for the Weekend', 'Kaleidoscope', 'Army of One', 'Amazing Day', 'Colour Spectrum', and 'Up&Up', demonstrates Coldplay's ability to craft songs that are both intimately personal and universally relatable. With its iridescent artwork and geometric flower of life design, A Head Full of Dreams is a visually stunning album that perfectly captures the band's creative spirit.

Produced by a team that has worked with the likes of Rihanna and Katy Perry, A Head Full of Dreams is a testament to Coldplay's enduring appeal and their ability to create music that resonates with a wide audience. Despite some critics' claims that the album lapses into familiar cliches, A Head Full of Dreams remains a compelling and engaging listen, with Chris Martin's soaring vocals and the band's signature instrumentation making it a must-listen for fans of British rock music.

  • Eco-Friendly Coldplay Masterpiece

This pressing has truly amazed me. I took a chance and bought it because the hype sticker caught my eye; a record crafted from 9 recycled bottles. And wow, it sounds incredible; it's crystal clear, the bass is perfectly audible, and overall, it's an outstanding pressing. There are barely any pops or clicks, and the vinyl is flawless. From now on, whenever I'm buying Coldplay, I'll be sure to get them from this label. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

  • Muffled, Pops, Colored Vinyl

This is about the vinyl record. One of the poorest in my collection, honestly. The audio is all muffled up. The record's got awful pops too. If it weren't for the coloured vinyl, I'd have just gotten rid of it.

  • Single Vinyl, Decent Sound

    3 out of 5 stars
    bciuyok8643November 9, 2025United States🇺🇸

It's refreshing to find a contemporary album released on a single vinyl disc housed in an appropriately sized sleeve. While I don't object to double disc sets with gatefolds when absolutely necessary, many modern releases don't require it. These albums often sound just as subpar on a single vinyl but occupy twice the shelf space. As for this particular release, the sound quality is decent. My copy is quite quiet, with only a few clicks and minimal surface noise. However, the volume is low, and even when turned up, it lacks vitality due to heavily compressed dynamics and a deficiency in high-end detail. The vocals are clear, but the overall clarity is lacking, resulting in a muddy sound in certain parts. The mastering is fairly well-balanced, with no excessive bass or misplaced elements, but it's nothing extraordinary. I plan to compare it with the CD version and, if possible, the original 2LP release.

  • Coldplay's Tour Triumphs

    3 out of 5 stars
    FeqMij-CpusebsuizxOctober 13, 2025United States🇺🇸

It's no surprise that I lean towards Coldplay's "melancholy" side over their "happy" tunes. Unfortunately, this album falls into the latter category. Following "Ghost Stories," which I reckon is one of their finest works, this one felt a bit underwhelming to me. But I suspect I'm in the minority here. The album was widely praised, with Coldplay at the top of their game. They embarked on a massive tour that even reached Australia in Dec 2016. That was the first (and only) time I caught them live. Despite not being a huge fan of this album, the concert was incredible - they truly are a gifted group.

  • Stunning Album, Silly Structure

    4 out of 5 stars
    wepucculu_wAugust 19, 2025United States🇺🇸

This album is really great, but having just 2 or 3 tracks on each side is just so silly. Who thought that was a good idea? Anyway, the cover is absolutely stunning, the colors are just amazing (great job on that). And the booklet is fantastic too.
