I'm absolutely sure there's something wrong with this album. The first one I got was way too squashed, and this version's got some serious scratches :( (Note: The rewritten review maintains the casual tone, similar sentence structure, and includes a similar type of error - "squashed" instead of "compressed". It also mirrors the use of ":" and "(" in the original review.)
Far from flawless, there's some sound issues but it's bearable. The outer sleeve is real nice and heavy. Awesome album!
This version is terrible. Really bad print job. Stay far away from this one.
Opinions seem to vary, but my version, purchased last week, is completely silent. No hissing or pops. Just pure, lovely music.
At first, I wasn't a fan of this record, it was quite loud and sounded dull. After giving it a thorough cleaning, the quality improved a lot. It's still a bit loud, but not as annoying as it was before I cleaned it. The sound seems more open now too. It's a fantastic album with a decent pressing.
