It certainly has plenty of pops, but they aren't those super loud, annoying ones. All in all, it doesn't sound bad at all. I got a really nice marbled turquoise one.

Honestly, don't waste your time on Big Thief's first two vinyl records if you're after decent sound quality; I'm genuinely surprised at how poor they sound. These albums are too good to be trapped in such subpar audio.
This album isn't perfect, with the mastering a tad off and slightly off-center, but it's still a gorgeous listen and sounds pretty decent.
Seems like I ended up with a faulty copy 'cause even after cleaning it, it still sounds off. You can still listen to it despite the issues, and some songs are better than others, but it's a letdown considering how amazing this album is.
