The media isn’t fantastic, ie, there is some surface noise (but my copy is not nearly what others have stated). I cleaned it in my Humminguru and there is minimal noise other than between tracks. Two records have a mild dish warp, but completely inaudible to me. This is a phenomenal performance. Gavin’s drums, especially the kick, are forward in the mix so you get that live performance feel at home. Nice imaging and wide soundstage. I was concerned about dropping the money on this set with some of the comments but if you’ve been thinking about it I’d go for it!
Great show (I was there) but lousy pressing. Lots of static, even after a wet wash.
Good music but not a very smart presentation. Two gatefold folders for two discs each... a waste of space and material. The book only contains photos, no tour information or texts. The material of the folders and case are poor.The concert is spectacular. an excellent production and the music very very good
My order finally arrived yesterday. Cleaned on my Project VCS as well on my US cleaner, removed pretty much all of the surface noise. At end of records there is some noise but that’s from mfg issues especially on records 1 and 2. The SQ is excellent with nice deep lows and mids natural with extended highs. A tad low on the mastering volume but still plays very dynamic. 3/4 sleeves has splits, the slip box s in perfect condition. Saw this tour in San Francisco last year.
No dinged corners or seam splits here but 3 out of the 4 records have scratches that are bad enough to be audible.
