The audio quality is fantastic, a significant improvement over the compressed CD version I own. No problems with harsh sounds, skips, or any other issues - it plays flawlessly after the ultrasonic clean.
I received the copy without the hype sticker, and that's just fine by me. Before I start, I should mention that I've never owned any other physical version of this album and had only streamed it before. To my ears, it sounds fantastic, with no surface noise or other problems. It's quite loud, but you still get a lot of clarity and separation between instruments, and Layne's voice truly stands out. My only issue would be the packaging; they could've included a gatefold, and the same goes for Facelift. Apart from that, it's a very solid release in my opinion.
I really regret not selling my copy when prices were sky high haha! Even though I was aware it would be reprinted, it was so tempting, but I just can't part with this album. It's way too special to me.
Without a doubt, this is the top-notch version of the album. It sounds way better than the CD (and I won't even go into those terrible 2022 reissues, they're that bad...).
