New vinyl ought to sound like this. Spotless, flawless, perfectly flat, zero problems. It sounds incredible. Each time I snag a fresh Stereolab pressing, it hits me how new records should sound and why you shouldn’t have to rush to clean a brand new disc right out of the gate. That mirrorboard gatefold is pretty darn cool too.
Yet another fantastic sounding Stereolab album. It's become so typical that it's almost unexceptional. Their consistent quality in both music and vinyl pressings is something every other band should aspire to. 5 stars, nothing more to add, absolutely brilliant.
Absolutely flawless pressing, gorgeous music. The Stereolab reissues really show how to do reissues right - even if, technically, this is a new drop. Only bummer is that they didn't keep up with the limited edition clear vinyl pressings from last year - would've been awesome to have them all in one color :)
I'm with the others here - this is an amazing pressing. It sounds absolutely flawless.
Stunningly fantastic pressing. Crisp, crackle-free vinyl. It's punchy and thrilling from start to finish. Counts among the best sounding records in my collection. A true example for others on how vinyl should be done. Highly, highly recommended.
