Absolutely delightful, with 'Smooching' being a standout! Not a single complaint here, it's flawless. Did anyone else catch Showell sneaking Audio into the Runout! I adored that unexpected detail……. I was aware the record was wrapping up, so when those waves kept rolling back and forth seemingly endlessly, I figured he'd stretched the track's end all the way to the Deadwax. What a unique touch! Clearly, it's been mastered and cut brilliantly by him too.
All in all, an amazing soundtrack. I'd have loved more guitar, but WHOA!!! Going Home is one epic track! Totally worth the ticket price just for that. My copy sounds fantastic. Would definitely recommend!
This album is somewhat dull. However, the original "Local Hero" is amazing.
This record sounds fantastic. It's much better than the original versions and the MoFi release. The MoFi vinyl is brighter and more detailed, but this one is smooth, warm, and has great dynamics.
Awesome music and another fantastic release by MOFI... definitely worth checking out
