Great album. There's some pops and cracks in a couple spots but it's alright. It did skip on the third song on the B side.
The description says it's a 130 gram, but mine's a 180 gram, as it says on the MOV plastic cover. Apart from that, it sounds amazing. It's loud, great quality, and the disc is flat.
Deluxe cd re-releases usually pack a punch, and this one truly knocks it out of the park. The 2nd disc is an absolute treasure trove—demos, alternate takes, a cappella versions, you name it, it's there. (The only thing missing is the 12" remix of 'Joy,' which, despite being nearly the same length as the album version, featured a killer guitar solo and some funky synth lines in the outro.) And it's about time this whole collection hit VINYL. A 4-disc box set would be a massive hit...Come on, Sony!!!
Where do I even begin? It's Marvin Gaye, for heaven's sake! An incredible collection of soulful love songs and ballads from a true legend in his field.
Excellent pressing, quiet, dynamic and perfectly flat... really happy with this purchase... highly recommend it
