Product description

This LP was released in 2025.

After a 24-year hiatus, Pulp, the iconic British band led by the inimitable Jarvis Cocker, is back with their eighth studio album, "More." Released on June 6, 2025, via Rough Trade Records, this 11-track collection is a testament to the band's enduring prowess in blending Britpop and Madchester sounds. Produced by James Ford, "More" captures Pulp's signature wit and wisdom, offering a reflective journey through the passage of time.

The album opens with the energetic "Spike Island," setting the tone for a collection that doesn't shy away from the band's roots while exploring new territories. Tracks like "Tina" and "Grown Ups" showcase Pulp's knack for storytelling, while "Slow Jam" and "Farmers Market" highlight their ability to craft infectious melodies. "More" is not just a return to form but a bold statement from a band that has always pushed the boundaries of their genre. With a runtime of just over 50 minutes, this album is a concise yet powerful reminder of why Pulp has remained a beloved name in rock music. Whether you're a longtime fan or a newcomer, "More" promises an engaging and memorable listening experience.

Fantastic sounding album! This is by far the best indie record I have in my collection. The quality and packaging are top-notch as well. Highly recommended! Great job, Rough Trade.

  • Great Deal, Great Sound

Snag this deal while it's still under 20 bucks. You're getting a bang for your buck with the music, trust me. As for the pressing, this sweet blue one I got for 15 bucks was perfect. Just one clean and it was good to go. The wax is quiet and the record's as flat as can be.

  • Pulp's Timeless Triumph

Pure Pulp, this is ... even More Pulp than before ... I've longed for them, 24 years have passed ... if you're a Pulp fan, you'll adore this one ... I'd just say it sounds fantastic and full of life, something in the way it's put together, the production is perfect.

  • Decent Sound, Wobbly Strings

The sound quality is decent, but mine's also not centered, so the gorgeous string parts kinda wobble now. It's not exactly unlistenable, I dunno, we'll see, but yeah. :/ Still, great album tho lol
