I was a bit hesitant to purchase this picture disc version, but I'm genuinely impressed with the audio quality! It sounds pretty crisp, with just a tiny bit of crackling here and there. As far as I know, these are the only copies available right now, so I'd definitely suggest grabbing one.
I picked up the latest release from this year and noticed the Matrix / Runout on side B is altered ("RE" is added at the end). Perhaps they've addressed the issues? Could this be considered a new version on Discogs?
Gorgeous album and cover art. However, my copy only plays through one speaker for some odd reason. I tried a bunch of my other vinyls and they all work fine with both speakers. The sound coming through the one speaker is great, though. As I mentioned, the whole package looks fantastic, it's just a shame that such an incredible album is only coming through one of my speakers.
The record itself looks great, but the noise level is way too high. If you're after good sound quality, I'd steer clear of this particular pressing.
The album is absolutely fantastic! However, my copy is awful with tons of crackling sounds... I got it brand new in the packaging
