This isn't what I'd call a silent record, as there's some tape hiss noticeable in the calmer sections. Other than that, the performance is incredibly energetic and the music sounds fantastic. Definitely reccomend it.

But the concert is great and it's fun to listen to it.

This is an amazing recording that's been beautifully preserved since '72. It's great to catch the audience's response at the beginning, between, and end of each song, but it never distracts from the music, which I really like. The thoughtfulness in this live recording is evident. Every track is a treasure on this double album. I absolutely love "Respect," which is played at a quicker tempo than the original, with so much more passion and energy. Hearing a rare glimpse of Ms. Franklin's talent captured here is a gift, and I'll cherish this vinyl for years. It's limited to 10,000 copies, so it's not super rare. I'd definitely recommend grabbing a copy if you're an Aretha Franklin fan.
