The initial two songs have some distortion and the volume fluctuates, hinting at a secondary source. The space between the vocalist and the instruments is notable, but the instruments aren't well-separated, implying this might be from a CD.
First off, I don't have any other Otis records, so my thoughts are just on this one, apart from knowing Louie Louie. That aside, I'm really happy with how it sounds. The bass and treble are spot on, and the record is completely silent when it's not playing. I'm familiar with Louie Louie, and the trumpet solo is fantastic, just as it should be. It's crisp and clear with that deep, rich bass in the background. For the 16€ I paid, I'd definitely recommend it!
This album cover has got the energy and punch to make it worth a listen. 6 out of 10.
