Can someone tell me if the copy currently available on Amazon, particularly Amazon.ca, is the US version with the Hoffman/Gray masters, or if it's the EU version mastered by Chris Bellman?
This record set is like having the Red Hot Chili Peppers perform live in your own home, the sound quality is fantastic. It was a bit of a hunt to track down a copy, but I eventually scored one for "only" 75€, which I think is a steal for four top-notch LPs housed in a gorgeous box. I picked up my copy from imusic (they've got sites like .de, .co.uk, and more, depending on where you're from), but be aware it's currently listed at 90€ there, so keep an eye out for a price drop if you're interested.
Honestly, words can't describe it! It's such a bummer that most new music isn't recorded on tape like this one. The mastering and pressing are absolutely perfect. The sound quality is out of this world!

This double album is incredibly well-crafted, with a compelling narrative and stunning lyricism. It's likely my top pick from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
