Got my copy of the 2016 reissues today (ordered through Juno Records, London), the barcode on it is 5 017556 302415. Is this supposed to be a different version?
It's a pity there's scarce info on the remastering process or the team behind it, but they deserve praise nonetheless. The audio quality is superb. Tracks like "Fade Away" keep their punk edge but now with enhanced sharpness and definition. The acoustic parts are rich and spacious. The green marbled vinyl is stunning, and the cover art is well-replicated. This is surely one of the better Oasis reissue attempts.
I'm a big fan of this record but yet again there are some major distorsions in the song 'The Masterplan' that are just not okay … not cool either on 'Going Nowhere' … can't believe they released this junk and didn't fix it … don't waste your money!
