Product description

This is a 2023 Deluxe Edition Reissue Remastered 50th Anniversary Edition released as a 2LP set.

Robin Trower's debut solo album, "Twice Removed from Yesterday," released on January 1, 1973, under Chrysalis Records, is a compelling blend of blues rock, blues, and modern blues that showcases Trower's exceptional guitar skills and soulful vocals. Clocking in at just over 40 minutes, this album is a testament to Trower's ability to craft memorable, hard-hitting tracks that resonate with listeners. From the opening track "I Can't Wait Much Longer" to the closing "Ballerina," Trower's mastery of the blues is evident, with each song offering a unique blend of raw emotion and technical prowess. "Daydream" and "Rock Me Baby" are standout tracks that highlight Trower's ability to blend blues with rock, while "Twice Removed from Yesterday" and "Sinner's Song" showcase his more introspective side. Whether you're a longtime fan of the blues or a newcomer to the genre, "Twice Removed from Yesterday" is an album that demands your attention and rewards repeated listens.

This record sounds real good to me. I'm playing it through a Pioneer SA-7100 integrated amp and Klipsch speakers. Might sound different on other setups but I'm truly enjoying it. It's a used copy but it plays real quiet.

Amazing album. Every track on it was fresh to me and I really liked it. There's a bit of hiss and a few skips now and then.

My one is identical to this model in all ways, except the P in the groove is gone.

Absolutely fantastic! The sound is crisp and incredibly quiet, with a fantastic remaster. Fingers crossed this is just the start of the entire Chrysalis era albums! …and yeah… I'll be purchasing all of them again! :^D
