Amazing, amazing, amazing sounding album; crisp, impactful with depth and nuances.
Spacious and immersive soundstage. A deep, lush array of instruments with clear separation that delivers that 'in the studio' feel, a top-notch pressing achieves. This version blows away any CD or subsequent reissue of this album.
I've owned this bad boy since I picked it up brand new back in the 80's. It STILL kicks out some amazing sound. Never even thought about getting a new one. If you stumble upon this little gem in good shape .... SNATCH IT UP !
Redemption Song" serves as a poignant conclusion to UPRISING, especially considering Marley's passing just under a year after the album's release. This 1980 Winchester pressing delivers a wonderful listening experience, boasting a rich bass, a crisp and intricate mix, and a wide, immersive soundstage. My copy plays back smoothly with only the occasional subtle surface noise.
