In my opinion, Weezer has never put out a better album than this one. The latter half really kicks into high gear, and I was genuinely happy to stumble upon the extra track after my 7th spin. I usually call it quits once the record ends, but I was occupied that time. A couple of minutes later, the music unexpectedly resumed with an awesome song that, as it turns out, is only available on the vinyl version. A definite must-own for any Weezer enthusiast.
Great quality pressing, and what a blast of an album! I'll definitely put this on when I'm in the mood for some fun and relaxation!
The title didn't inspire much hope. I figured it'd be yet another "clever" Weezer album full of run-of-the-mill rock tunes. Boy, was I mistaken! It blends the best bits from that big-haired band era with a next-level White Album Weezer vibe. What a nice shock! Just don't sing along to the lyrics, trust me :)
The sound quality on this pink vinyl is absolutely amazing. It's a super clean pressing with hardly any hiss or pops. I won't rush to clean it with my Spin Clean just yet, as it sounds great right out of the gate. This record is definitely among my top Weezer albums, right alongside Blue and Pinkerton. Van Weezer and The White Album are also killer late-career albums. If you have the chance, grab this one without hesitation... Great work, Weezer!
