Since "Justice," I hadn't picked up a new Metallica album, as the ones that followed didn't impress me. But after catching their tour a few months ago, I was hooked on what I heard. This album is fantastic, blending a fresh metal sound that's still fast and raw! The riffs are killer, and the setlist is top-notch! Plus, the midnight violet vinyl looks amazing! Definitely worth grabbing.
I don't have the download that's supposed to be included, as it says on the sticker! And the U.K. yellow version doesn't have it either?! Did anyone get a download code with theirs?
This album blends the essence of "Ride The Lightning" and "Black" seamlessly. Absolutely blown away, adore adore adore it. Thrilled they've "Returned to their roots" starting with "Death Magnetic". The past three albums have been phenomenal masterpieces.
Wow, this pressing is fantastic!!! It's so loud, punchy, and perfectly balanced, they really outdid themselves with this one!!! Mine came with the litho (lucky me) I wasn't expecting it at all!!! The only thing is the color, it's more green than the actual yellow, but it still looks cool though...
