This is a special release for Black Friday Record Store Day on the 25th of November, 2016. As per this site, there are 5000 copies globally (http://www.lostinvinyl.org/shop/metallica-hardwiredto-self-destruct-limited-coloured-vinyl-2lp-pre-order-release-date-18th-november). Can't vouch for the site's reliability. Perhaps someone else has more info.
The US press package's buttons were just thrown in there, no effort. But the French pressing box, the buttons and CD were nicely organized. Judging by the pics, the European splatter seems more vibrant than the US one.
This is INCREDIBLE!! It looks fantastic on the red marble too! No hesitation, just GET IT & have a blast!
Exceptional pressing, didn't hear a single click or pop. Cut by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman's and pressed at Pallas, sounds fantastic!
The LPs have "MANUFACTURED IN GERMANY BY FURNACE RECORDS PRESSING" printed on them. So, was the US edition actually pressed in Germany, not the USA?
