Turns out it's not that bad... this album could use a bit more loudness. (Literally!) When played too quiet, it lacks distinction, bass, and clarity. All lights up as the decibels rise.. 😊
Picked up a copy of this from Amazon; had seen a few reviews mentioning skips, jumps and warps on other copies but mine came in excellent condition with zero playback problems. Honestly, a pretty solid pressing.
The audio quality is great! There's no surface noise or pops at all. It'd be awesome if they included some extras in the package though.
Purchased my vinyl in June 2023. The audio quality is truly impressive. The soundstage and dynamics are fantastic. It's crystal clear, with no skips or crackles after a good clean, and minimal distortion. 'God & Satan' is one of the quietest tracks instrumentally, and it's so clean it could pass for a CD. I'm absolutely thrilled with how amazing this sounds. It's a timeless album!
Amazing, a strong 4 out of 5. I'll definitely give this album another listen, maybe with the volume turned up a notch.
