This record sounds crisp and full of energy. The instruments shine, and Freddie's vocals are nicely clear in the blend. Happy I grabbed this copy. Some standout tracks include "I Want It All," "Invisible Man," and "Breakthru." There's a few stage-based tunes and a touch of 80s production, but it's definitely worth a spin.
The record looks great, but it's got this awful constant noise that kicks in right from the start of side A and doesn't quit until the very end of side B. I'm gonna try giving it an ultrasonic clean and see if that helps. If it doesn't, this could be a real letdown for anyone thinking of buying it.
It's amazing that no one's left a review for such an incredible pressing. It's gotta be the best version of this album out there.
At the moment I'm writing this, you can still grab copies straight from Queen's website. Make sure to look there before handing over crazy amounts of cash on this site! The packaging isn't as nice as their other picture disc releases, but it sounds amazing.
This pressing sounds amazing. I'm absolutely in love with it. Would definitely recommend, 4 stars plus!
