This is an essential addition for any fan, and likely the finest pressed vinyl from her whole collection. I'm over the moon that they decided to press more copies!
Japan, I'm hoping for an upgrade. Throw in a proper obi. That'd make it way more appealing.
Audio quality is fantastic, however, for $90 including shipping, the packaging is an embarrassment. It's incredibly flimsy and cheap. Really let down by this.
This special edition is just divine! Most of Mariah’s vinyls are pressed terribly and sound awful. But this one? The sound quality is stunning. And guess what? The live concert was recorded on my 17th birthday—how epic is that! Oh, and the packaging is faaaaaabulous, dahhling. 🦋
I've just got my hands on Mariah’s ‘Rarities’ 2CD set and I'm thrilled to have it in my collection. The presentation and audio quality are fantastic. Big thanks to Mariah for sharing the Live in Tokyo show for free on YouTube. The concert audio on disc 2 of ‘Rarities’ sounds amazing, so I don’t need to spend extra cash on the Japan-only Blu-ray. As for disc one, it’s packed with tracks that’ll appeal to all kinds of fans. More pros than cons, in my opinion. The ‘Save The Say’ track is a bit misleading with its ‘featuring Ms. Lauryn Hill’ tag...This wasn't a duet, just a sample of the Fugees' hit. Lauryn was probably running late for the session (LOL). Overall, ‘Rarities’ is a must-have for Mariah Carey fans and anyone who appreciates good music!
