The pressing on this is fucking amazing. Super quiet and incredibly dynamic. It even sounds better than the original, which I've got too.
An incredible instance of how a release 'ought to have sounded', all thanks to the rediscovered original multitrack tapes
The record is put together nicely, no issues with the pressing, and it's quiet... I can't do a direct comparison with the original, but I've noticed that the grooves on the original seem to take up more space than on this one, so I'd guess the original has more detail and depth... I can't really complain about this copy, especially since it was pretty affordable, but maybe down the line I'll snag an original, you never know...
The Dolby Atmos sound is absolutely fantastic, a must-own for any surround sound lover. The stereo mix strikes a great balance between the music and dialogue, and the instrumental mix is sheer heaven. Truly a definitive edition.
