Fantastic booklet notes. It'd be awesome if more recent albums included such top-notch reading stuff.
I must say, this really impressed me! The quality is top-notch and that rendition of 'dream on' is fantastic. Now it all makes sense, where 'you see me crying' originated from.
Here's Steven Tyler's unpolished, untrained vocals at their finest! It's absolutely amazing! Just like everyone else mentioned, the album was pretty dirty for being sealed. After a good ultrasonic cleaning, it's spotless, plays perfectly, and sounds incredible! Not a single noise! The soundstage and mastering are top-notch. I'd highly suggest picking this one up!
This is a fantastic album and an important piece of music history. Raw as hell, and that's what makes it so great. A band on the brink of fame and bigger things. It's like you're right there in the studio with the 'Smiths. Pure rock n roll.
The vinyl was quite beat up, with plenty of scratches on the surface. I gave it a thorough cleaning, but it didn't make much difference. It's a bit noisy, but not unbearably so. I just considered it part of the experience, treating it like an unofficial release. Still, it's a must-have for any hardcore Aerosmith enthusiast. I was really impressed with the packaging design. It's probably the best I've seen on an Aerosmith record.
