Overlooked…even by the musicians. I'm fond of the subtle folk feel that runs through the whole thing.
While not their best work, I gotta admit, the sound quality is top-notch!
Well, I've finally got this stunning album on vinyl, and to top it off, I've got the white edition which I absolutely adore. Such an overlooked record. I'm over the moon.
Nothing to complain about. The sound quality is incredible. Over the moon as I could never afford the crazy prices asked for the genuine article.
This Album is heavily focused on the vocals. Michael Stipe takes the lead on most of the tunes, with his lyrics being super clear and really standing out. The music in the background is just there to back up the singing. The Album cover features only one band member, Michael. And guess what? The backing vocals are also done by Michael.
