I have some strange edition of this. The label is exactly as the first UK pressing with the (ZAL8270) upside down and the J/T above. It has the matrix on (side 1.) ZAL-8270-2W JT and (side 2.) ZAL-8271-1W JT but the laminated cover is as the German release. So, what release is this? It's not listed here. If anyone can help me, please do that! Cheers! Lost_Johnny
This Kevin Gray cut is much better than any US pressing (I’ve been through a few). Strongly recommended.
Days of Future Past is excellent; however, this is favorite Moody Blues Album. Their albums tend to a bit pretentious, but this one is clever and I love how all the songs work together to tell the story of self discovery. The musicianship is impressive; I'm not generally a fan of the flute but Ray Thomas's flute playing on "Legend of the Mind" and "The Actor" are highlights. "The Actor" is a beautiful song... a masterpiece really... and showcases Justin Hayward's voice (among the best in Rock Music) and writing. The production has the lovely 60's nostalgic sound and I would recommend to anyone interested in prog/psychedelic Rock of that era.
