Absolutely The Greatest Live Album By Any Artist Ever! At last, it's out in all its brilliance, every show that went into making the final album. At last, the speculations about the final album are settled! For me, this Box set is an extra special delight as I attended The Seneca College Field house show! That show alone made this box set worth it for me! So lucky to own this Rock Masterpiece 👍🏻
When you shine a light through it, the vinyl is see-through. The pressing is top-notch and the sound is absolutely perfect.
You can currently snag these through Amazon US or Amazon UK's global store, and they're shipping out. They were priced at $83, but now they're around $100, which is still a steal compared to the champagne and caviar prices you see elsewhere. If you're interested, don't miss out! As for the sound, I've checked out disc 1 and disc 5, and it's absolutely phenomenal—fresh and dynamic. It's such a relief knowing someone had the vision to preserve these shows properly. Here's hoping they press more of these so fans can enjoy them without getting taken for a ride.
Live And dangerous" by Thin Lizzy is definitely among my all-time favorite live rock albums. This band was incredibly tight, powerful, and just sounded fantastic overall. A must-have for any rock music enthusiast's collection.
The music is fantastic, but I have to concur that 'super deluxe' is a misnomer when it comes to the ridiculously tight cardboard holders that ended up scratching the discs - in my instance, half of them. 2 discs even managed to fall out during transit - to make matters worse, 3 of the most heavily scratched CDs would frequently skip and eventually freeze on the same track, no matter which player I used, even after I cleaned them meticulously several times. The packaging is absolutely dreadful.
