As a huge fan and collector of this band, my take is straightforward: anything up to FTATR is a 5-star affair, and everything post that earns a 4 (with some nearly hitting 5 and others dipping close to 3😉). This album is definitely a 4. But let's face it, a band with their legacy can't really drop a terrible album😁
Turn up the volume! Can't wait to catch their shows this summer (twice, of course :P) acdc totally rocks!

As a lifelong AC/DC enthusiast since my early teens, I'm probably not the best person to review this album, but I can't help but share my thoughts. If you haven't grabbed this album yet, don't just sit there—go out and get it! It's a fantastic package deal with both LP and CD for just 2 Euros more than the CD alone. So, if you're a vinyl lover, you're essentially getting the CD for a bargain, saving you the hassle of copying the LP to a CD-R for your car or other uses. This is a win-win for the artists, the label, and the fans. To anyone in the industry reading this: a huge THANK YOU for making such a smart choice!
Alright, while this might not be AC/DC's swan song, it's becoming more probable that "Rock or Bust" could be the last album featuring Brian Johnson. (For me, AC/DC just isn't AC/DC without Johnson. If you're thrilled about the prospect of an Axl Rose-led AC/DC making a sequel to this, be my guest.) Not their finest work, this is still a decent set of tracks and pretty much what you'd anticipate from the band at this point in their extensive career. 'Dogs of War' skillfully brings back the unsettling groove of classics like 'Let Me Put My Love into You' and 'Spellbound', while 'Rock the Blues Away' showcases the subtle sensitivity that AC/DC has always been capable of, despite their heavy reputation. The only downer for me is the annoyingly immature chorus of 'Emission Control', which strays way too close to Def Leppard's style.
