This is a fantastic set, even though the film was a bit silly. It's a great piece for any collector.
It seems like a digital recording. Check out the frequency analysis of "You shook me": https://ibb.co/3k2rhc5 You can notice the cutoff at about 20Khz.
Huge sound! Yet another Robert Ludwig triumph! It's loud but still dynamic, with massive drums that aren't overboosted, so the mids and highs are spot on. Fantastic pressing, grab it! [Tech specs in my profile]. Oh, and as a film buff, I gotta say this movie's awful…but I watch it yearly!
Just like the other review mentioned, this record keeps skipping at random spots. The track 'Who Made Who' is basically impossible to listen to. Maybe I just got a bad copy, but I wouldn't chance my money on this one. Play it safe and grab a different reissue instead.
Holy cow, what an awesome pressing! The drums hit you right in the face! The entire mix is pure, unadulterated 80's Rock and Roll! Snag this one for your collection. Played it on a Philips 312, Nagaoka MP 200 cart, Klipsch KG 4.5 speakers and a Harmon Kardon HK 730 reciever.
