How do we keep reviews authentic?

Whether a review is positive, negative, or neutral, we always publish it. However, we screen every review to ensure it is authentic and free of profanity. These checks happen automatically, though a human occasionally steps in. We never pay for reviews.

  • Vinyl Cleaning Success

    5 out of 5 stars
    vogeqnoatDecember 28, 2025United States🇺🇸

After giving this a Spin-Clean treatment, I gave side 1 a listen through my speakers and side 2 on my headphones... It's smooth, clear, and another round through the cleaner might eliminate a few more ticks & pops- but the sound is quite dynamic. Perhaps the bass is a tad lighter compared to newer mixes- but 50 years back, I'd bet this is how it sounded in the studio…

  • Expansive Soundstage, Exceptional Detail

    5 out of 5 stars
    Fotmux7December 20, 2025United States🇺🇸

I agree with all the glowing reviews. The expansive soundstage is fantastic, and the separation of instruments is truly exceptional. Every detail is sharp and distinct. This is a superb pressing.

  • Bowie's Masterful Era

    4 out of 5 stars
    vocoBD_December 18, 2025United States🇺🇸

I'm head over heels for this Bowie era. His songwriting and backing vocals are truly one-of-a-kind and incredibly fulfilling. Echoing other's thoughts, this mix is phenomenal. When Bowie takes the reins, the outcome is undeniable. Every instrument feels authentic and blends seamlessly. Excellent soundstage and a powerful mastering job. This is the pressing you've been looking for. Highly recommend!

  • Frustrating Album Skips

    1 out of 5 stars
    XuuYunxyNovember 28, 2025United States🇺🇸

I'm beyond pissed; this is now the second time I've bought this album, from two different stores, and both times it's the same issue – it skips at the exact same spot (right when the title track hits the “once there were mountains...” part). I just want to listen to Station to Station, you know?

  • Bowie's Impressive Album Start

    5 out of 5 stars
    UjberdaNovember 9, 2025United States🇺🇸

This album has set the bar high for me - nothing else can quite match up. The drums and bass really pack a punch. It's the start of Bowie's most impressive run of albums.
