Damon Locks is a multifaceted Chicago-based artist, seamlessly blending the roles of visual artist, educator, vocalist, and musician. With a background in fine arts from the Art Institute of Chicago, Locks brings a unique perspective to his music, creating a fusion of free jazz, post-hardcore, and spoken-word poetry. As the lead vocalist of the influential band Trenchmouth and the founder of The Black Monument Ensemble, he crafts evocative soundscapes driven by powerful percussion, brass, and woodwinds.
