The sound level on my pressing is quite low, and I suppose it's like that for everyone's. It's not terrible, but it's a bit disappointing because this album and "This Is Acting" aren't the highest quality recordings out there, and I was really looking forward to hearing them on vinyl. The vocals are clearer on vinyl, but the instruments are turned down, so it doesn't have the same impact. It's not as bad as "This Is Acting," though. That album is just okay, and some songs sound a bit fuzzy, which reminds me of the Grimes "Halfaxa" reissue. That one had really low volume, but the instruments were clearer. I wonder if the gold pressing sounds better, but I'll never know since I can't get my hands on one.
Eh, kinda average pressing. Once you give it a solid clean, the crackles and noise lessen a bit, but still not the greatest sound quality.
Jumps...and it's stuck in a never-ending loop at the finish...ugh. What's the deal with these new pressings being so damn terrible. Just bought it, still in its packaging but the record was also filthy. Grime everywhere with bits of paper, and dirt. Giving it a clean helped but it's still got that skip.
This vinyl is likely the loudest one I own. I haven't tried the black variant, but this white pressing is truly awful.
This vinyl is possibily the noisiest I've ever had. I ain't got the black one to compare, but this white version is just awful.
