This is my first Fleetwood Mac live album experience, and I must say, it's quite enjoyable for the most part. I didn't have high hopes for it sounding like Nirvana Unplugged, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's not the best live recording I've ever heard—Nirvana still takes that crown—but it's well-recorded overall, and I think Chris Bellman did a fantastic job with the source material. The album shines brightest during the softer parts, especially when the acoustic guitar takes center stage. The soundstage feels so much more open and spacious when there's less going on, and the vocals really stand out. "Landslide" and "Rhiannon" are clear highlights, but even some of the quieter instrumental sections benefit from a less busy soundstage. I was particularly captivated by the bongo solo in "World Turning," which had an almost eerie quality to it. Unfortunately, the heavier rock tracks start to falter a bit, losing some of the clarity and resolution of the softer segments, but they're still fun to listen to, even if a bit distorted. It's not groundbreaking, but it's much better than I expected. As for the records themselves, I'm usually wary of clear vinyl and MRP pressings, as they've been hit or miss for me in the past. Luckily, I didn't encounter many issues during playback, just a few minor ticks here and there. The records weren't perfectly flat, but they didn't need a trip to the ORB flattener either. All in all, I'm satisfied with this purchase and happy to finally have a live Fleetwood Mac album in my collection.

This record sounds fantastic and the packaging is top-notch for the cost! I think there's a bootleg version out there, but it's just from one show and has fewer tracks than this official release. It's titled Life Becoming a Landslide. But regardless, my copy has no significant surface noise. The sound isn't compressed or distorted. Overall, it's an excellent product. 👍
