Whether a review is positive, negative, or neutral, we always publish it. However, we screen every review to ensure it is authentic and free of profanity. These checks happen automatically, though a human occasionally steps in. We never pay for reviews.

  • Ultimate Album with Bonus Tracks

    5 out of 5 stars
    Liam JonesNovember 7, 2025United States🇺🇸

This is the ultimate version of this album. The audio quality is unmatched. (If you've got a decent setup and appreciate first press Japanese CDs, you'll understand what I mean.) The bonus tracks genuinely enhance the album. They're not just filler or studio leftovers; they fit seamlessly, like they were always part of the original.

this album is absolutely amazing, thrilled I managed to get it on vinyl, its gorgeous :))

  • Great Album

    2 out of 5 stars
    Nathan MorrisJune 25, 2025United States🇺🇸

I picked up this record from A&C not too long ago. There was a bunch of hiss on the opening track and all over side 2. I scrubbed it a few times, but maybe I just got a faulty copy. The packaging is pretty basic too. I attempted to send it back, but they never got back to my email. Apart from the noisy tracks, the sound quality was pretty decent. It's a powerful album, so the loud sections sounded awesome, even on the tracks with the noise.

  • Green Marble's Subtle Static

    3 out of 5 stars
    Isabella RiceMay 9, 2025United States🇺🇸

There's a touch of static and hiss, but it's not that noticeable. The 'green marble' is more of a steady green with some black and yellow lines, though lol

  • Grammy-Robbed Masterpiece

    Camille RizzoOctober 21, 2024United States🇺🇸

Product description

This is a 2015 Reissue released as a LP.

Feist's "Metals" is a captivating journey into the depths of chamber pop, showcasing the Canadian singer-songwriter's distinctive voice and her ability to convey raw emotion through her music. Released in 2011, this fourth studio album is a testament to Feist's growth as an artist, experimenting with new sounds while staying true to her unique style. The album opens with the sweeping folksy love song "The Bad In Each Other," seamlessly transitioning into the dark and contagious "Graveyard." Feist's powerful vocals and thought-provoking lyrics are evident throughout the album, with tracks like "Undiscovered First" and "Comfort Me" highlighting her range and depth. "Metals" is a contemplative and heavier blend of folk-pop, with a touch of atmospheric menace. The album debuted at number one on the US Billboard Rock Charts and number seven on the Billboard 200, marking Feist's best-ever sales week and her first appearance on the Billboard Top 10. With its thematic links to nature, love, and life, "Metals" is a compelling listen from start to finish.
